Justin has been serving alongside of John and Michelle Skorski and the Front since 2006. He assists John Skorski and Jesse Sliger in the Worship Ministry and helps with the administration of the worship team. To Justin, worship is not solely the playing of music, “For everything we do is to be worship unto the Father.” His passion is to lead people into the throne room of God through the avenue of music, as well as to see people have an encounter with the Lord and walk away changed forever. Justin desires to build strong, healthy worship teams that have a sense of tight-knit community, as well as to lead with excellence for the purpose of exalting the name of the Lord, and bringing people closer to Him. Justin also serves with Jeremiah as part overseer in the Finance department of the Front.
Derek describes himself as the hairy, barefoot Florida native who loves Jesus tons, and eats just about the same. Amen! Derek first came to the Front for a work day back in 2005, and finally came to a Monday night service after being invited for about six months. The family connection was immediate, the love grew, and from that moment on he was committed. He was eventually asked to join the leadership team, and decided he'd give it a whirl. However, it's been more like an amazingly crazy whirlwind, taking him further in God's will than he ever could have imagined! Derek felt called to help Leslie and Jeremiah Coker with the Friday night homeless outreach, and ever since 2009 he claims the most spectacular Friday nights one can imagine. People are the most lovely things on the planet. Sometimes though, we find ourselves hurt, dirty, or simply hopeless. Yet...there's a love, the love of Jesus and a perfect Father, which is greater than anything anyone has ever known outside of Him. The dare is for you to check Him out, and see His goodness for yourself. Love is not a force to push someone, but a wave that can carry one off if they allow it. A reminder from God; 'I love you, and I've got you covered. I'm still here, here for you.'. God is good.
Julie joined The Front family in 2010 after moving from Orlando, but she is originally from Memphis. She has completed two internships with the Sarasota House of Prayer and leads prayer sets there weekly. She also leads hospital prayer at Manatee Memorial Hospital and prayer walks New College campus.
